What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Finished watching the Ham Radio Workbench presentation on the QSO virtual hamfest last night. The humor was outstanding, The Canadian contingent was excellent. I didn’t know Canadian Ham’s had such a great sense of humor. The tech information was great as always, but the star of the show was the prototyping of the pin or patch to detect at first fellow watchers of ham radio workbench then with further design work it could be engineered to be a COVID detector! George, you and your cast of fellow nerds are simply “The Best” Thank you!!! N6CLF Chris

Dr Zip · Mar 2022

I look forward to every episode of the Ham Radio Workbench. They’re great to listen to on the way to work in my car or traveling on the highway. Many of the guests share not solely knowledge and skill but tips and tricks to save money, as well as testing and measuring more effectively. Some episodes, (like Earth-Moon-Earth or Receiver Optimization) I’ve listened to multiple times due to the articulate, thoughtful questions George asks the guest speaker, the enthusiasm of the guest speaker and the wealth of information. Keep up the great work! 73 de KA1WHT

Bill Larned · Oct 2021

These guys are great to listen to. I’ll admit that once they get into the main topic I usually get lost as they are really smart, but I love the “what’s on your workbench” section as I learn about all kinds of cool gadgets, tools and tech. 73, K8JLW

rhlanham · Jul 2021

Finding Ham Radio Workbench was so timely given my renewed interest in ham radio after a long hiatus from the hobby. I’ve been steadily upgrading my station with new everything, from radios to antennas. Listening to HRW has helped me so much with those purchase decisions. I also love the banter, ribbing, and self-deprecation of the hosts and guests. Thanks for doing these podcasts! Bill, KG6DZ

PVFBill · May 2021

Use to love the show. Had great tips and interesting projects. Now it’s getting political, bias, opinionated and a lot of talking about themselves. I still give you a shot every episode hoping for a turn around but ultimately end up deleting episode and making a played. Sorry guys, hope you find your roots again.
