What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I love this! I could binge but I’m trying to drag it out as there is no season three at this time. Main character can be abrasive at times but she grows on you. So many twists and turns to this plot! Great job!

VaStarr27 · Feb 2024

Perfect production design (even the way they produce their ads are amazing), fantastic writing and outstanding cast (really makes me wish Kelly Marie Tran was performing more, because she KILLS IT in this)!

richtersaurus · Nov 2022

I loved this podcast. Doesn’t seem like everyone agrees, but the jumping around and changing of persons/storylines was awesome and kept my attention allowing me to really dive into the plot. I guess I can see why others would disagree considering it is easy to follow a storyline like this one when a visual is present. However, I loved the twists and the tangible plot that this series had. I will say the parts clearly making fun of conservatives and conspiracy theorists wasn’t really necessary. The ending was not as drastic as I thought it would be but I would recommend !

Tristyn Kelly · Feb 2022

The plot is intricate and twisty, and the voice actors are excellent. I was intrigued all the way through to the end!

Chianne61 · Jan 2022

The good: acting is ok, with the older actors actually being pretty decent. The bad: everything else. Zero production value — no effects to create a sense of ambience, no music to enhance the mood. The producers got a bunch of people to record dialogue, but did absolutely nothing to make this even the tiniest bit immersive. All of that pales compared to the maddening incompetence and inefficiency of the lead character. The writer(s) are emotional, not rational, thinkers, and saddled lead character with their inadequacies. Maybe this show gets better in subsequent eps, but I was so frustrated that I bailed before finishing even the pilot.

Filmeng · May 2023

The acting is fine, the voices work. The producing and edit is terrible. The writing is unrealistic, even for the a maybe-supernatural, maybe sci-if mystery. I was shoved out of my willing suspension of disbelief within the first 20 minutes. Why would a woman grieving the loss of (or in denial about) her twin, be willing to lie to another grieving woman, about knowing the location of their government abducted child? I saw the lie coming the minute she said she know where the child was, and I turned off the podcast the moment it was confirmed. I wasn’t willing spend another second with such an unsympathetic character, and neither will you. There are much better podcasts out there.
