This show is a delightful treat to listen to! Out of all the podcasts I’m subscribed to, this is the one I end up recommending to friends most often. The host is quite pleasant and entertaining, definitely worth a follow!
Toby is hilarious let me say that it’s the voice for me! I love every episode but this one is probably my favorite so far because it keeps me entertained at work and laughing. I wish I didn’t have to deal with the 10 minute ads though that’s a little frustrating, If I could pay to bypass them I would.
Every character in this cast is edgy & angry in that way that is only possible in a small town with limited options. Even though the premise is fantastic, & it’s context is Australian, it is totally relatable. Constable Kyle is a brilliant, conflicted character investigating a confounding mystery whilst hiding from himself. Highly recommended.
Undertow has great production value and typically tells some great stories that keep me coming back for more. Hovering is the only exception, I don’t see how it fits the style of the show and feels completely different and not horror at all but just drama.
I try and listen to these at work an I feel like I listen to more ads than show. The episodes are so short and at least a quarter of the audio are ads. It makes it very hard to stick with
