I’m a fan of an opposing team but I enjoy listening to coverage of rivals just as much as I enjoy following my own team. This is my favorite Browns pod so far. Great hosts. Objective takes.
Like the update-to-date info and consistency of browns content, but the audio is not good. Too much background noise off mic (pens dropping, people talking, chairs moving, clothes rustling, people breathing). If your intent is to attract audio listeners, it would be helpful to hire an audio professional to assist with recording or at least advise on how it can get better and what not to do.
I like that the show is nearly everyday. Some of the presenters have voices made for print journalism and it can be difficult to listen to but the A Team of Mary Kay, Dan & Ashley are all fantastic, presenting concise well researched insights with the professionalism level of the best radio and TV pros. Awesome!
Have been listening to every episode for a couple years. Sadly has recently become almost unlistenable. Gone are the “gotta watch the tape” insights from Ellis and Scott that really increased my understanding of the game. Ashley seems like a nice young lady but by emphasis and opinion is an MKC clone. She may yet find a unique niche. The new guy (Kyrie?) is a disaster. Did they actually audition him with audio? He cannot speak in intelligible sentences. Can barely understand him and what he says has zero insight into the game or the Browns. Now when he starts talking I start hitting the “skip ahead 30 sec” button until he’s not on anymore. Removing from my daily rotation until the personnel are improved.
If this were either Mary Kay or Ashley, it would be fantastic, but I’d like to have a dollar for every time Ashley just regurgitated what Mary Kay had just said. She may simply agree with Mary Kay, but she comes across often as not having her own thoughts about subjects. If you are going to have a third person, bring in someone who’ll disagree with her from time to time. Of course Mary Kay is a HOF reporter so finding that person would be difficult! Oh, and others may seem to like it but I can’t stand hearing about shopping trips or what you are binge watching! I’m here for the football. Period.
Solid reporting but it’s almost unlistenable due to the co-hosts laughing at the most inane things. Feel free to laugh but they constantly chuckle at things that have no comedic content whatsoever.
