I love listening to podcasts and I’m so excited to discover Moby Pod! I’ve listened to about 4 episodes and, so far, I am hooked! I first found this podcast due to the Hunter Biden episode, which I loved, and have since enjoyed the two episodes with Gene Baur and Moby’s 36th Veganniversary journey episode. I have been transitioning to a whole food, plant-based diet from vegetarianism for years and I love listening to vegan pearls of wisdom! The episode with Hunter Biden was very moving. I have family dealing with addiction and have witnessed many patients suffering from addiction. I applaud him for working and continuing to work on his sobriety. I didn’t realize he is an artist too. Painting is such an essential, holistic creative outlet. Thank you, Hunter Biden, for wanting to help others overcome their addictions. We need more champions in that area. I wish you and your family peace and privacy, as the world needs more love and compassion and less hate. It is a sad time when people have to break other people down to make themselves feel better. We all need to examine ourselves more in the mirror, do some essential self reflection, and focus on healing ourselves and help others. None of us is perfect. I wish you well! Thank you, Moby, for this amazing podcast!I can’t wait to listen to the other episodes!
Moby and Lindsay together is a match made for a klatsch, and you’ll Lol! Nestled in the Hollywood hills near Griffith Park, these two goofballs will brighten your day with interesting topics. It’s a great, little podcast that thoughtful goofballs will love.
The Mobycast: A good voice in at least two senses of the word “voice”. 1) Moby gives voice here — very humbly — to the glorious hot mess that is the Human Condition, with real wisdom he accrued by really living in real time through his real backstory, which we know a bit of, since he’s a prominent figure in contemporary culture. That’s something. Even more so, since what he says here turns out to be comforting. And curious. And charming. And kind. In other words: A good voice. 2) Moby’s a good voice and I mean sound-wise now, like his actual voice. It’s so idiosyncratic. The frequencies and rhythms are so quirky, so imperfect, and so relatable because of all that, so . . . well . . . * fun *. Has he voiced any major release animated film characters yet? If not, I’m shocked at those studios’ talent tone deafness, because it’s kind of a marvel, Moby’s voice. Audio wabi-sabi, if you will. In other words: A good voice. Fortunately for all of us, as well-known culture-character Moby has the access and reach to be heard, even over the barrage of mental noise that crashes on top of us continuously now like a nonstop tsunami. Let’s listen. And let everyone we know know. Here’s a good voice.
I love this new pod. I’ve been a fan of Moby since his early days (“Go”, “Ah-ah”). He’s someone I’ve always admired for different reasons. Love to listen to him talk, and Lindsay is the perfect co-host. The production quality is beautiful, and of course it helps that he has endless amounts of music that he can use. I’ll be listening religiously.
