Absolutely love this podcast!! Each speaker is fantastic!! It is fascinating to hear the explanation of each of the daily readings and how each relates to the other from the Old and New Testaments! Some explanations are profound and we are left with more awe and wonder of our God and His Word! Thank you all so much for all your hard work with this! WONDERFUL!!
This is by far the best daily mass reflection! Thank you for all the explanations and teachings on the daily Gospel reading. It really helps me have better understanding of both Old & New Testaments and strengths my faith. It is such a blessing that St. Paul Center can provide us this Podcast daily. Thank you to all the theologians and professors at St. Paul center for your great work 🙏🏼
Finally, a Catholic theologian, other than Scott Hahn, who isn’t scared silly of the difficult passages of the Old Testament. The majority of Catholic priests religiously avoid preaching anything about the Old Testament or the Psalms because those readings don’t fit neatly into the trite “just be nice to everyone” sermon. Today’s episode really could be said to be a reading of the Old Testament based on the revelations of the New Testament. Well done.
Listening to these reflections each day has enriched my understanding of scripture. There is a lot of clarity provided, which I feel is difficult to find in our culture. I also appreciate the fact that historical, biblical roots are discussed. My spirit rejoices! Thanks be to God!
I feel as if I’ve grown so much in my faith from listening to the wonderful speakers from the Saint Paul center who share their knowledge and faith with all of us. But I also learned biblical history and culture, things I never knew that make the Scriptures come alive and make more sense. So I thank you and will be praying for you all. Please keep up the wonderful work you are doing.
