The Bible Explained with Jenn Kokal

by Jenn Kokal

Reading the Bible shouldn't be a chore, it should be fun! Grab your cup of coffee and tune in to The Bible Explained podcast, where Jenn explains the Bible in a simplistic, approachable way. Launched in 2020, this podcast does not follow "the Bible in a year" format - it's more like "The Bible in a decade." Each weekday morning, you will hear Jenn read and discuss Scripture in a way that you (probably) have never experienced before. Touted by many listeners as "The best Bible-reading podcast out there," you won't regret tuning in, especially if you are looking to deepen your knowledge about the Bible. For coffee drinkers only. (Just kidding.) Jenn's goal is to present the Bible in a simplistic way using biblical cross-references, ancient history, and the Hebrew/Greek language. What listeners say

I have been in church most of my life and considered my knowledge of the Bible pretty good. But was I wrong! I knew surface level Bible until I started this podcast. I wanted one that I could listen to on my hour commute to work. And listen through 1 and 2 Kings that way. I found so much info I didn’t know that I found myself wishing I was able to write the info down( cause that’s how I retain info) so I got a note book and started at Genesis! I have shared it so many of my church friends and now they listen too. I love that we all started in different places and can discuss. I thank you for starting my deep dive into the Bible, and feeling my relationship with God! ❤️

Thank you for explaining the bible to me. I was saved when i was younger but fell away from jesus. I was having a hard time with my family and my own issues for what felt like forever. I saw a youtube ad saying give God 30 seconds and i did. In the video it was a Bible that had only 2 tabs one saying family and the other for personal growth. I felt overwhelmed. There were a few smaller signs that God wanted me back before that but i ignored them. I could not ignore that message. I started praying and i searched for a way for me to learn while im at work. Your podcast means so much to me thank you very much. About a month after i started praying again ive had 2 HUGE blessings. So thank you thank your podcast and thank God.

I’ve been binging this show for about a week and can’t get enough! Luckily for me we are season 8 so I can go to past seasons. I love the length of the episodes (15-25 minutes). I love how deeply she dives into the Bible, the history, the Law, etc. It is very understandable. And I love her voice! She made a joke about a boy mocking her voice when she was a child and I think he was way off, I love her voice. It’s easy to listen to, relaxing while still engaging. Highly recommend!
