I cannot recommend this podcast enough! These people have a heart for the Lord and for intimacy and it SHOWS! They are building up HIS kingdom and helping people tear down their own walls (at least from personal experience) to be free sexually and relationally. 10/10! Thank you KS team for all you do and for your ministry! Much love!
The Kingdom Sexuality Podcast is a refreshing blend of truth, tenderness, and boldness. Alana, Tiera, and Kyle tackle the tough and often taboo topics around sex and faith with wisdom and grace. Every episode points you back to God’s design and reminds you that freedom and intimacy can go hand in hand. It’s the kind of podcast every Christian woman (and man) needs in her earbuds.
My fiancé found this podcast and shared it with me. I’ve been following the show for a year (and currently working my way through old episodes). We are both widowed and neither had great sex lives with our late spouses, but we have vowed to each other to do better in our future marriage. Listening to this podcast has helped us learn more about each other, store up tips and tricks for the bedroom, gained new information about the anatomy, and brought us closer in our communication. I can’t wait to marry him and put into practice all the great practical things we have learned from KSP.
Right now my wife and I are still healing and repairing trust in our marriage - we are just on the very beginning stages of starting to walk into a season of wholeness and unity. - Listening into your conversations has helped redeem my mind, defeat shame, find hope, and see the powerful gift that God created in a whole new way… you guys have helped me to bring real conversations about sex to my guy friends, and get unashamed about this conversation. I am still learning and still growing - but you guys have helped set my mindset in a whole new direction. I used to think that our sex life would always be broken, and that sex will always just be a thorn within our marriage. You guys have helped me to just totally surrender everything I thought I knew to God, and just trust him within this journey knowing that there is so much better and greater than what so many years of shame, addiction, and the enemy stole from us.
I wanted to love this podcast SO BAD!! Talking about sex as a Christian in a Godly way is so important and clean resources for married couples are so hard to come by! So I know that they have a great message and intent for this podcast. That being said every question and assumption on their podcast seems to be men trying to get their wives to have more sex… if you are not a husband constantly trying to tear your wife clothes off or a wife that doesn’t enjoy or ever want to have sex this podcast probably isn’t for you. As a wife who loves doing things for my husband and actually has the higher sex drive in my marriage, episode after episode is devaluing my experience and making that feel not normal. If there is ever a question on what to do with mismatched sex drives, they automatically will go to what in the woman’s life is keeping her from wanting to have sex. that’s my biggest issue with this podcast. But I would also like to say that there have been times where they have to stop during a podcast and look things up or don’t know what certain toys functions are and overall seem to lack a little bit of knowledge.
