A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.
Listening to this podcast is like getting AI insights from your two charmingly confused grandpas—Jeff and Leo—while their much cooler, more competent granddaughter Paris keeps them on track (and occasionally roasts them with surgical precision). It’s equal parts informative and delightful chaos. I tune in for the cutting-edge AI discussions and stay for the Craig Newmark jingle, which lives rent-free in my brain like an oddly soothing earworm from a parallel universe.
Ai podcasts are either dry, too hype-y, too pessimistic, or worse they predict doom. This podcast is fun! There’s jokes, there’s snark, there’s audience participation in Discord (if you decide to upgrade to the paid version) and there’s a sandy beach (dare to ask.) This podcast is so wild there is even a barbershop quartet singing the name of the one and only Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist and homing pigeon enthusiast. BTW I would have written this glowing review anyway but the barbershop quartet pushed my into urgency as I am a Craig Newmark fan. If it wasn’t for Craig I wouldn’t have been able to furnish my apartment. If you know, you know.
The hosts do an amazing job breaking down complex topics and bringing in top-tier guests who offer unique, real-world insights into how AI is shaping everything from business and ethics to creativity and daily life. I always walk away from each episode with something new to think about, and I genuinely look forward to the next one. If you’re curious about the impact of AI or just love learning about technology’s cutting edge, this podcast is an absolute must-listen. Highly recommended! Also bring back the “Craig Newmark” jingle.
This show is academia at its best; nerdy and accessible. The recent interview that starts each show is a glimpse into a world of experts that you would otherwise not even know about (let alone hear them speak)
