Genuinely good info and conversations. I listen every Friday on my breaks at Apple. Although we learn so much from the company, it’s nice to hear other perspectives and other insights on things I may not have encountered. I did laugh out loud when you read the other review about William’s audio when he pronounces “s”. Depending on where I’m listening (the car is the worst!) it can slice through the ear. However, those AirPod Pros are marvelous and I have not experienced that anymore….I choose one AirPod in the ear when driving now. 👍🏻 Problem solved. Keep it up guys.

I have been a casual listener to your show in the past, but have come to regularly follow the show every week over the past couple of months. I appreciate your reporting and perspective on the current mac ecosystem developments and speculations. I often find your viewpoint provides a much more logical and straight forward-assessment on those stories. I would be interested in your advice and opinions on upgrading to the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, since I will be needing to upgrade from my iPhone X. With the expecting price increases, will it be worth the extra cost for the 18 Pro, or should I instead purchase a 17 Pro now? Thanks.

I don’t usually review things that are disappointing, but I’ve tried for a few months to get into this podcast , and it is just not doing it for me. Mainly, it’s joyless and boring. I hate to leave a negative review because putting together a production takes a lot of work. However, the main complaint that really sucks the energy from the room is the main host with his “I know better than Apple” way of speaking is just draining. He doesn’t seem to be excited by anything in the Apple world, and he seems to spend a majority of his time being a Monday morning quarterback and sharing his own “why I know better than anyone” views than actually trying to find joy or fun in the subject. There are a lot of things to be excited for, and this podcast really could use an overhaul and a fresh set of paint to get people excited and engaged. This isn’t doing it.

I’ve listened to this podcast since Stephen Robles started it, and loved it. Stephen is great, William is great (and witty), but ever since Wes took over the hosting it’s just been consistently going downhill. Wes’ obnoxious politics dominate conversations, and beyond that he’s just insufferable to listen to. He’s just likes hearing himself talk, and interrupting or shutting down William when he’s not talking. Wes is fine for adding some tech opinions or analysis on Apple rumors and such, but he’s not fit to lead as the host of the show.
