Reply All is still one of my favorite podcasts. There aren’t any new episodes, but I still re-listen to my favorite episodes. When I found Hyperfixed, I was overjoyed. Alex is genuine and I appreciate his team’s drive to answer the weird questions. It’s quirky and fun and oddly wholesome.

Hyperfixed is a gift for the dystopian times. It’s a show that aims to help people with a wide and random range of problems/questions. It’s interesting and funny. Even when I think the topic won’t interest me I get sucked in. I suggest starting with Chris’s Watch List (it’s a personal favourite)

This podcast scratches my curiosity itch and truly leaves me saying “wow… I can’t believe how that question developed” all while marveling out how much I learned along the way. It’s light hearted and Alex is great at story telling. I would highly recommend listening!

I really wanted to like this as I’m a huge Alex fan and want him to succeed. But these shows are just not interesting. I was hoping for something like super tech support or yes/yes/no, but instead it’s a show about the very most banal and uninteresting questions/problems imaginable. It just doesn’t have the magic of Reply All. Maybe we need PJ to come back, as his show sometimes suffers from the same problem?
