Every episode I finish, I immediately think “what did Mary & Blake think about this episode?! Did they pick up on things I did? What did they see that I missed? And most importantly, what did Mary’s dad think?!” 😂 I cannot wait for their episode on House of the Dragon episode 6. I found them through Outlander and I can’t watch my shows without them anymore. I recently cut all my Patreon subscriptions except Mary and Blake. They’re worth it, try it out!

I’m an archivist that spends a lot of my workday scanning, filing, and sorting things and you can be sure Mary and Blake are constantly on my podcast feed. The dynamic between the hosts is lovely - these two are very funny, sassy, and smart! They bring a unique perspective to their recaps, that I may not always agree with but certainly enjoy and appreciate. I love Mary’s random anecdotes and Blakes attention to detail. I could listen all day!

I finished the show and HAD to find a good podcast to hear some other perspectives on this portrayal of fictional historical events. I love the hosts’ takes, the show’s structure, and the only reason I rate 4 stars (or flames) is because they often forget, hesitate, or switch the names of the characters. I understand there are a LOT of similar and repeated names, but it would be easier to listen if they were more often confident and correct on names and places.
