I just started listening and the very first episode has gotten me thinking about our practical steps that I would have missed as we set out to homestead.
Appreciate the varied topics. I also love the she gets right to the topic, not allllll the chit chat that a lot of podcasts do. I also appreciate that this podcast is not just about self promotion, she has topics that are useful, interviews knowledgeable people, asks good questions, and provides resources. Holistic podcast. Thank you for this content! You’re doing an amazing job ⭐️
One of my favorite podcasts! Mona has such a soothing voice, inspirational, and a really genuine person. Her solo episodes and guest episodes are both easy to listen to and follow along. Highly recommend for anyone who loves plants and animals!
Mona gets to the point, shares her knowledge, seeks out subject matter experts to interview, and seems like an all around genuine person. I enjoy listening weekly.
I started at the very beginning and I got quite a few episodes in. I listened for a few hours in fact, but what felt like half of every single episode was an ad for a big homesteading book. I don’t have any issue with the content being advertised but it was the constant hammering of it that I just couldn’t handle anymore. It should have been a one and done episode. Regarding the actual content I didn’t learn any actual information about homesteading, just information on whether or not I should actually start. Like what are my struggles, and there’s nothing wrong with this but again it was constant. I felt like I was being convinced to not homestead rather than to. It’s hard to decide if you want to do something when none of the actual information being presented is about how to do it. Please note I only listened to the first 15ish episodes. Current content might be entirely different, I just couldn’t get there.
