Having seen lives of the falsely accused damaged in the original, 1980s-90s Satanic Panic in the US, I was horrified to see that it continues (and indeed, has morphed into QAnon and our generally paranoid and unhinged political present). Alexis Mostrous is an excellent reporter, gifted in both research and storytelling. I’m very glad to have listened to Hoaxed and hope it will be updated if new developments occur.

Very well reported. Such an important story to be detailed in the age of social media where clips of these children are seen without the full context. It’s important for those unaware to know how conspiracy theorists are hurting children and families. Thank you, Alexi, and all of those involved in this podcast for sharing the truth.

Superb. Outstanding information delivered by the host . His voice is warm and kind, it’s a pleasurable experience every time. Addictive story telling which is very organized. The host comes across as an extremely good guy.

Impressive job getting to the bottom of the hoax in a well-documented, well-reported process. Strong effort to find clarity on the situation - and consequences for its bad actors. The reality of it was astonishing.
