In the 80’s, Paul Harvey was a morning ritual in my grandparents house every summer morning we would wake up to the smell of fresh coffee brewing and his familiar and comforting voice coming from the large console. Thank you for bringing that joy back. Now that I’ve found you I can sit and listen every morning and it brings me so much comfort & joy, helps to lift my spirits to face my day. I’m so thankful that I found your podcast … Thank you ♥️

I love the old radio shows, but the amount and frequency of the commercials and the fact that they interrupt the program really angers me when I’m trying to listen. A four minute spot by Paul Harvey should absolutely NOT be interrupted by a stupid ad. Also, the ads should not cut off the show in mid sentence as they do here. Other than that, I love it

I love listening to all these radio broadcasts! Don’t listening to all the negativity about ads. It is very authentic to me with all the old advertisements. The one that are before every episode are annoying but I understand it completely. Keep it up!!! 😁

I’m not opposed to ads. They are important and they have their purpose. However, placing ads mid-show (for sub-4mins) and mid-sentence shows that the managers of the podcast just shut their eyes and randomly place these ads just anywhere. It’s almost sacrilegious to the legacy of the likes of Paul Harvey to have someone just mindlessly chop something up into bits and pieces without a single thought.

Show that you care about your podcast and do some actual editing. Show care. Show your professionalism. Show pride in your work. I’m sure that humans do not just wake up in the morning and say “how poorly could I do my work today?”

I really want to give this podcast one star because of the moronic way commercials are added to the short broadcasts. The only content I am interested in is Paul Harvey and adding a commercial right in the middle of his three minute broadcast is disruptive and disrespectful of Harvey and his son. It is a low-brow practice and smacks of greed. Sure, I can tolerate a commercial at the beginning or end, but stop with the commercials in the middle of the Paul Harvey broadcasts. Respect his memory in a higher class way.

I am thankful that the “The Rest of the Story : Revisited | Paul Harvey” podcast was created as response to the Harold’s bad behavior. The author does not play ads at all in that podcast.
