Crime in America with Joe Budden

by Prime Crime Productions

Every crime story starts somewhere. Before the national headlines, before the viral clips, before everyone has an opinion, local reporters are on the ground trying to uncover what really happened. Crime in America with Joe Budden is a weekly crime and news series that takes audiences inside the cases shaping communities across the country. Through in-depth conversations with the journalists closest to the stories, Joe examines what happened, what remains unknown, who has been affected, and where the story could go next. Drawing on a nationwide network of local reporters, the series covers both the stories dominating the national conversation and the cases still emerging beneath the surface. From Wolf Entertainment, the minds behind Law & Order, Headline Studio, and Joe Budden, Crime in America delivers true crime from the source while the story is still being written. Watch or listen every Tuesday.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Joe Budden is a NATURAL. His world weary hard boiled delivery is perfect for these all-too-human tales of murder, malfeasance, and mayhem. Joe carries a street level authority without hype or over dramatization. He’s not telling these stories for laughs albeit not without an appreciation for aspects of the dark humor of the Human Comedy. True Crime heads, there’s a new sherriff in town - add Joe Budden to your feed.

Gotta get the vocals dialed so it doesnt sound too scripted. Please use names more often, slow down a bit and even repeat, plus more details. LOVE the audio from actual expert. Relaxing is there but feels a bit rushed. Has potential once crafted…looking forward to it

What a great concept, Joe Budden talking about true crime stories before they’ve become mainstream!
