American listener- so happy to stumble across this series- such a gripping, well produced human interest story. Thankful to both families for sharing it with us. Also enjoyed learning about Newfoundland and hearing the local dialects. The best type of podcast!

I am a podcast junkie. I’m so addicted to my podcasts I’ve basically given up tv. This podcast however is one of the most authentic, interesting and the host is fabulous. I laughed cried and then felt the love. Thank you for the hard work putting this podcast together. I binged this in a few hours and I am sad I’m on the last episode.

Such a beautifully executed podcast! Voices are clear, easy to understand and relate to. The energy throughout the podcast is calm yet earnest. My heart felt heavy throughout, but I could not stop listening.

What a beautifully executed podcast. The host is so thoughtful and gentle… such a soothing voice. I could hardly bear how sad and frustrating the storyline was. I hope all those people find peace. I feel like I’ll think about them for a long time. Also? Those beautiful accents were a surprising treat!
Note: paying 1.99 to hear such a well-done story is the bargain of a century. I can’t understand why people think podcasts should be free.
