Rosalie’s voice should actually narrate everything. It’s so crystal clear and smooth! After each episode I want to watch the movie immediately! She’s full of facts and I feel so much smarter after I listen! I recommend to all my friends!!
This is an excellent podcast, and very unlike many other film podcasts. This is one where you will discover older movies to watch. Rather than a disacussion, she shares that love directly with you in a way that is soothing and will inspire you to watch more movies. Rosalie Kicks' enthusiam for older films is contagious!
I love the style of this show, which mixes soothing narration by Rosalie Kicks with audio clips from the movies under discussion. Her insights are always interesting and informative, and each episode makes me want to watch the films she’s highlighted- immediately!
I'll admit, as Rosalie's husband, a small percentage of the reason I listen faithfully is to make sure she's not plotting to murder me in my sleep. The rest is because I genuinely enjoy hearing her share her interest and new discoveries in classic cinema.
