I loved it. Immersive audios are my favorite! I did not have a hard time following along, I think where people got lost at certain points are what I realized were aspects of human emotion and confusion along with disbelief.. also going a bit crazy and being lonely. His memories, his personal hardships, etc. took me along for the entire journey. I wish there was more, but I don’t think the ending disappointed. He finally got his daughter back.
Celeritas is an absolute masterpiece. Carefully crafted from start to finish, this fully immersive show will grip you with its talons from the very start and refuses to let go. Yes, there is a lot of breathing and panting as some other reviews have noted. But it’s consistent and accurate to the environment and the experience. Beautifully mixed audio, feels like you are watching Gravity or Interstellar, but on the iMax of your own imagination. Give it the space and the attention it deserves. Not a casual or background listen.
I listened to the entire season on a Sunday morning. It drew me in, made me laugh and cry; excellent writing and story! I’ve listened to many different sci fiction podcasts and this one stands out as one of the very best. Great job!
Up to about episode 12, and while there are interesting parts, it is also difficult to grasp. There are parts that could use way more description, with much yelling or noise effects that don’t describe what’s going on. It is difficult to follow a story that doesn’t paint a clear(ish) picture. It’s also difficult to tell what the relationships actually are between the characters. In all I’d say there’s a lot in the creator’s mind that’s not communicated well.
