I found this podcast last year and I never miss an episode. Such an entertaining, informative book podcast and the relationship between these podcasters is the best.
I’m a pretty avid reader. I read around 100 books a year. My tastes are varied- meaning I have read and enjoyed a lot of genres. Additionally, I’ve listened the quite a few book related podcasts on Apple and without a doubt, consistently, this podcast shows up with unique insights and recommendations. The two hosts are fantastic- they bring their own personalities authentically and I love how they don’t have a ton of commercials (none actually) so it’s a pleasure to listen. My personal reading journey has only been improved by listening weekly. I love missing one because I can listen to two! Highly recommend giving any episode a listen. 5 stars- no notes. Thanks ladies for being amazing!
I have been a BTE listener for years - I wasn't sure how I was going to feel when Renee left. I admit it took me a bit to get used to Hannah (and being that she is several decades younger than I am, I had to get used to her style of speaking). After a couple of months though she has become one of my favorites ! I have always absolutely loved Tina and I just love how these two have such a genuine friendship. They are very respectful of each other, you can tell they are friends off air, and the mix of books they read covers a lot of ground. And they frequently make me laugh. It just goes to show - always give something you are initially on the fence about a second chance, or some time to make a decision about. BTE is a must listen first thing every Tuesday!
I am a picky podcast listener because I get bored easily and don’t like a lot of fluff. This podcast is excellent! Tina and Hannah are down to earth, knowledgeable, and funny, and they don’t take it all too seriously. We’re talking about books after all. It should be fun. I enjoy the “Loving Lately” openers and the info about new releases. I wish there were more episodes weekly but only bc the podcast is so fun. These are two book queens doing their thing. All hail!
I have listened to this podcast for months and while I do like hearing the book reviews, the relationship between the two hosts is what’s having me push unsubscribe. It’s uncomfortable listening to one host constantly making sure the other knows that she disagrees with her, dislikes what she likes, etc. I’m unsubscribing and will just follow Hannah on Instagram. ✌🏻
I loved this podcast but after the host I loved left it seems to have taken a turn. It’s become less about book talk and more about the hosts political views.
