Black History Buff: Uncovering Untold Stories

I love that you bring out REAL black history. Not just the usual regurgitated stuff that we see played over and over every February for Black History Month. You are bringing out black history from all over the world every month of the year and I’m here for it. Sometimes I wish the episodes were longer but I still appreciate the bite sized digestible episodes, too. Everyone isn’t into history and so for those people the length probably is just right, but I hope you consider dropping some long form audios for the historically ravenous every once in a while. First off I’ve listened to every podcast at least 3x now. All of them are very well thought out and beautifully researched. The perfect combination of information, storytelling and comedy. Im beating myself up that it took this long to find. I will be purchasing my hoodie and patiently wait for more!

I started listening to this podcast in Late 2019 and it has been such big part of my ancestral evolution. Learning about our prominent Black brothers and sisters of all times has been conformation after conformation. So do yourself a favor no matter what race you are... learn this Afro history! Because it’s just not our Afro history... It’s WORLD HISTORY! Divine job King Kurus, From the research to the all-around quality of the podcast, keep it going! We need this more than ever in 2021!

I am an ally trying to be a better ally by educating myself on Black History, as--- despite a lifelong love of history, public schools failed me on this important section of history. US schools should teach a Black History class alongside their US history classes. But thanks to this podcast, I can receive the lessons I never did before--- and I'm finding myself furiously googling along side King's AMAZING voice and narration. King Kurus, you're the best history teacher I've had so far! 10/10
