Has the U.S. government been conducting a slow-drip UFO disclosure campaign through Hollywood movies and television for more than 70 years? The new podcast Sound, Light & Frequency tackles that mind-blowing question through an ongoing investigation hosted by two Hollywood insiders: Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman, both successful writer/producers with hundreds of credits. Bryce and Brent publicly share, for the first time, the full account of their surreal encounter with a “Man in Black” who offered them a deal to use their primetime alien-invasion drama series, Dark Skies, to spread UFO truths. Each episode takes listeners behind the scenes of iconic films and TV series, connecting what’s been portrayed on screen to what might be happening in real life—and asking whether other creators were offered “the deal,” too.

This is exactly the quality you would expect from professional writers that have been in the movie business for decades. The fact that they have first hand real life ufo related experiences while writing a fictional UFO show pushes this show in the upper tier of entertainment in this genera.
This is an excellent Podcast presentation. Both hosts are professional commentators and excellent story tellers! The presentation is very well done and easy to follow. The best Podcast I have ever Listened to. It so informative, interesting and entertaining! I have really enjoyed it! Looking Forward to more. Highly recommended
What a thoughtful and beautifully crafted podcast. Bryce and Brent are exceptional storytellers, they don’t rely on cheap “gotcha” moments or sensational reveals. Instead, each episode unfolds like a carefully woven tapestry, layering personal experiences, anecdotes, observations, and outside perspectives. What I appreciate most is their balance of curiosity and professionalism. They’re clearly fascinated by the subject matter and open to possibilities, but they also remain grounded, skeptical, and thoughtful in their approach. That balance makes the podcast feel genuine and deeply engaging rather than performative. Every episode has left me with a little “oh wow” moment. This is intelligent, immersive, and wonderfully human storytelling. Highly recommended.
The hosts each have their own opinions, but without the tendency to prattle on and talk over each other. In the latest episode they also demonstrate how to tame an especially voluble guest, with kindness and tact. This is what a podcast should be. An absolute pleasure to listen to. Can’t wait for September 17th!
