GOD I love this series. I’m literally gritting my teeth in frustration every week when I open Apple Podcasts and check to see if the new episode is out, and then see that it’s not out. I love how much thought you put into this. It’s like an educated philosopher with a desire to actually have fun with life decided to write a bunch of hilarious and deep stories. Each season, the characters and the unspoken background commentary they represent completely wow me. They’re interesting and human, having their own ways of viewing the world and dealing with stimuli. I like to write sometimes and struggle with character development, and this podcast has been the most brutal critique of my skills. I mean…there’s probably a million prolific writers out there, but I’m not smart enough to glean what I’m supposed to learn from their fancy word soups and salads. In fact, they don’t even taste good to me. They just taste…new. Didn’t think it was possible for me to enjoy any new seasons more than I enjoyed your last one, but the characters in this season constantly leave me wondering what they’re gonna say or do next. Kimon (C’mon?) is so far my favorite character in your multiverse. Guy inferno being 2nd for reasons I’m not smart enough to articulate. All this to say, I have been following your creations for probably ten years, and I’m really loving this podcast. You always endeavor to make people think, and this podcast is a banquet of thought exercises I’ve had to listen to multiple times just because I sensed there was a deeper point in something someone said or did. I still don’t know if Kimon is just a lucky fool who thinks he’s wise, or a legitimate genius. Then again, the wisest people seem to know that they are all lucky fools. Keep making these or I will go into withdrawal and start making phone calls to people with your name until I get’cha and start blowing up your phone.
I’ve been listening for a while and they’re really funny, it’s not only good but it’s also helped me get into role play other than dnd.
This podcast is amazing, good voice acting and I was laughing the entire time. Lawry is my favorite, his voice legit gives me ASMR lol. So many funny moments and I think I might get into TTRPGs now. P.S I know you are probably never gonna read this but there’s a game called magical kitties and I think you could take inspiration from it if you want
I’ve never heard a podcast where the comedy is so rapid-fire and consistently entertaining. They do a great job of poking fun at TTRPGs while providing some great characters and voice acting. Big Bingo Bone Heist and Everybody’s Neville are my favorite so far. Very much worth checking out.
