What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

These guys love Star Trek. Unlike a lot of podcasts these days, they can express where things are lacking in shows without tearing down the work or getting too cynical. Thanks for a great listen!

Padre Runner · May 2022

Love the interviews with TNG crew and honest reviews of the newest Trek outings. Keep it up guys!

lunarfix · Mar 2022

Scott and Phil are the only guy’s I listen to for comprehensive discussion’s about Star Trek🖖🏻 they always do a deep dive with a great sense of humor that no other Star Trek podcast can measure up to‼️

busdriverjeff · Mar 2022

Scott and Phil have a natural chemistry, and display just the right combination of respect and irreverence for the Star Trek franchise. They’re knowledgeable, but don’t claim to know everything. I laugh a lot while listening to these episodes. More, please!

I have been with Transporter Room 3 since the beginning. That’s why it pains me to have to unsubscribe. I was patient, but over the past few years Phil has gotten the impression listeners want to hear his political commentary, including wishing death on people who haven’t gotten the COVID vaccine(I have but that’s not the point)in addition to other topics in the 24 hour news cycle most people try to get away from by listening to a podcast. I continued to give the show shots, but Phil still thinks people want him to be a cable news pundit. The episodes have also gotten more abbreviated like cliff notes and the number of expert guests has diminished. Note: I have been vaccinated and fully support it, but not wishing harm on others who don’t get it. I do sometimes agree with Phil’s views, but that’s not the point.
