We’re Trish and Tami, two Family Nurse Practitioners, two MedSpa owners, two very different roads into aesthetics, and absolutely no interest in sugarcoating what happens in this industry. Trish came into aesthetics with a background that already blended beauty and medicine. Before becoming a nurse, she spent more than 15 years as a professional makeup artist, then went on to build a career in Emergency Medicine and flight nursing before becoming a Nurse Practitioner and opening Tranquility Aesthetics & Wellness in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Her approach combines artistry, clinical experience, and a love for helping patients look like themselves, just refreshed. Tami brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience, with a background in cardiology, interventional radiology, and clinical management across neuro, orthopedic, trauma, and step-down care. After transitioning into aesthetics nearly a decade ago, she built her own MedSpa and developed a passion for injectables, lasers, hormones, wellness, and aging well. She is all about science, natural results, and helping people look better without looking “done.” Together, we created Tox “N” Talk — your weekly dose of unfiltered conversation about aesthetics, wellness, injectables, skincare, hormones, lasers, trends, treatments, and everything people are talking about behind the treatment-room door. We’re breaking down what’s actually safe, what’s worth your money, what’s overhyped, what makes us cringe, and what we would never do to our own faces. There will be science. There will be stories. We’ve worked in emergency rooms, trauma centers, flight nursing, hospital leadership, and yes, even jail medicine, before finding our way into the aesthetic world. Now we’re talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly of aesthetics from the perspective of two women who actually work in it every day. No corporate talking points. No filters. No pretending every new treatment is “game-changing.” Just two Nurse Practitioners, two microphones, a lot of experience, and conversations we’re probably supposed to keep inside the treatment room.
