The Scott Galloway was great. Having a daughter tunes me into women’s rights. Having a son makes me tune into what boys are going through. I liked that you were able to have a conversation about the current state of the world for young boys without turning to misogyny.

I’ve listened since the drop of the first episode. I like the idea of talking to all sides. I feel that can be done without tapping into people that are tied with hatred. The Charlie Kirk approach was hard to get past. That will kill this podcast for many people.

Great podcast. Great interviews. Really worth listening to if you like to be informed on the reality of current events. He allows the listener to form their own opinions.

This podcast is informative and insightful. Gavin does a good job as a host and lets the guests share their thoughts and opinions without cramming his own political views down their throats. I would love to have Gavin on my podcast as a guest to talk about the power of podcasting in this media landscape.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the podcast. The information has been timely and is giving me a broader more inclusive perspective than I get from network news.

It’s unclear why the sitting governor of California decided to launch a podcast—especially when he already has a demanding job that deserves his full attention. But what’s even more baffling is that he kicked things off by platforming a far-right figure.

As for the podcast itself? It’s not great. The conversations feel awkward and underdeveloped, and the format lacks any real spark or direction. Even more disappointing is the noticeable but not surprising absence of women guests.

This feels more like a vanity project than a meaningful contribution to public discourse. If this is meant to showcase leadership, it’s missing the mark.

One star. Maybe focus on the day job.

From someone who used to vote heavily Democratic, it’s sad to hear some of the dialogue exchanged. When listening to the recent podcast regarding men, they highlight the Democratic Party’s inability to connect with men. They focus heavily on topics, like misogyny and feminism, and cannot bring them themselves to focus on the topic of helping men, like acknowledging boys struggling in the education system, especially Black and Latino boys, opportunities for men in the job market outside of traditional gender roles, or helping young men understand their role in the family unit. Anytime I believe they are going to tackle something interesting to help men, like mental health, they reroute back to pointing fingers at others, like ‘the manosphere or the Right’. For an episodes over an hour long, only about 10 minutes felt like it actually acknowledged anything. It’s sad, but it fundamentally highlights why Democrats are losing men: they do not want to help men in the same way they help women. They cannot acknowledge men in America face issues like women. It perpetuates the existing narrative that has failed and pushed many, like myself away from the Democratic Party. It’s not that men are confused. It’s just we know where we aren’t welcomed.
