This crew makes my weekend, and the news, so much easier to digest. I see some folks get irritated at the sirens, or the giggling, and I can understand that. Personally, I love the outtakes, the giggles, etc. I think it does its version of breaking down the fourth wall in a pleasant way. Ty!

What is up with the sirens constantly in the background audio during 8/31 episode? Are you adding scary noises to the track to keep listeners on edge (like true crime shows)? Or are you recording in a studio with windows open to a street full of EMS vehicles? Or is there a full-blown riot outside the studio? You’re filming in DC - is the Nat’l Guard about to breach your set? None of the hosts seem to notice or explain the bizarre phenomenon to the audience - are they all deaf or just pretending not to notice? MSNBC seems to think we can’t hear the background noises of their shows — the clanking jewelry, the constant Sharpie scribbling of hosts while guests are talking, dogs barking, phones & computers beeping. Most of your listeners & watchers own high-end electronics that enable us to hear every noise in crispness, including sirens. Do your producers & directors care at all about their craft? Or is no one paying attention? It’s a long-term, systemic issue on many MSNBC shows. We notice & are annoyed daily. Fix your audio.

I gave this show a chance and haven’t turned back. I love Symone, Alicia and Michael. This has replaced all political/news shows for me including morning Joe which used to be my favorite. Glad that they are moving from the weekend to the weeknights so I can get more of them. The new set of 3 have big shoes to fill and only time will tell if I continue to tune in.
