Thank you for resolving the inbox notification issue during the pod recordings. I love this podcast and frequently sharing the episodes with various friends. My one suggestion is to help your guests with their microphone set up. The episode with Stowe made it sound like he was standing in a tunnel. Glad that the host doesn’t gloss over the questions that need to asked.

For anyone interested in learning about the ski industry, this is the one podcast you should listen to. Amazing guests and insanely well researched content. This podcast and blog is in a league of its own within the ski industry.

The interviewers here are just outrageously high in quality. This will make you realize a lot of other podcasts are just talking/creating content. The prep work, interview caliber, polish and flow are top notch. Not softball questions but thoughtful interviews with good guests. I’m blown away.

I really enjoy the Storm. It’s the best podcast that I’ve found, fishing related or otherwise. Stuart’s interviews are really well done - well researched ahead of time, and a nice mix of being very professional, but also relatable for those of us who aren’t ski industry insiders. As a fellow native of the Midwest who now lives in an area with bigger mountains and more snow, I love that he includes quite a few episodes highlighting the little ski areas across the Midwest that skied for the first 40+ years of my life.

…Man Stuart is annoying. His robot voice intros kill me. More substantively though, I think the problem with this podcast is that he fancies himself a serious journalist but asks a series of softball questions, and only occassionally will meekly offer up a faintly challenging question that he will not follow up on in any way or press people who don’t answer it. I get it, you gotta get the guests, but this podcast is entertainment not journalism.
