I lol throughout the episode! Pete’s analogies are spot on and immediately relatable. I love when he comes up with a funny example of what Sebastian is cantankerous about. Thank you!!!
I listen to hours weekly and hands down this one is best. They are willing to let us see them for who they are - completely unfiltered. I can’t express how meaningful it is to have them in my rotation. Life lessons, career growth, out loud laughter…for free! Get an earful now and enjoy the ride! This is my first and only podcast review.
One of the best comedy podcasts I've ever listened to. I still go back to old episodes just for some laughs. Pete and Sebastian Maniscalco are hilarious and make you feel like a fly on the wall of comedy.
I am definitely late to the 10 year P&S game, but at least I made it! I have binged season after season. I listen and laugh, and laugh some more. I love how unrehearsed the material presents, shining authenticity through ever so vividly! I was disappointed that Jimmy from Boston was no longer a presence, I sometimes laughed so hard from his intro, I cried! DJ Lou gave something more than special. Thank you, P&S, you literally light up my podcast life!
I can’t believe I’m saying that the show needs more time to find its rhythm after more than 13 years of being on the air, but since the “rebranding” (Sebastian’s words) it seems that the format places Sebastian as the host and Pete as the sidekick which is clunky, awkward, and feels like throwing cold water on what had been a great partnership and interplay between Pete and Sebastian and what had been a solid 5 star show. That partnership was really the spark and the heat of the show, and though I can’t say that the move to Sirius is the primary cause of squelching it, Sebastian seemingly taking the lead role is definitely a big factor. Go back and listen to any of the 13 years of the show and then jump to the latest couple of episodes post “rebranding” and you’ll see what I mean. The original show gets 5 stars as far as I’m concerned. Sebastian bending to Sirius’ will? 2 at best, and you can thank Pete for whatever quality is left in the show.
Can’t believe i’m writing this - I’ve been a long time listener, Patreon member, gone to see many live shows of Sebastian and Pete and this new show - not for me. Feels like the magic is gone - is it too late to go back? Go back to the days when it was laughs for days. Pete has to be the lead his ability to connect and story tell is next level. I’m trying to hang on here but not sure how much longer 😢
