Never fails to make me laugh and lift my mood! Such amazing hosts, and an incredible rotation of guests and topics that keeps me entertained. Episodes can be so different from one another, but they all give that good laughy goofy feeling.
The title really says it all, but I’m just sincerely grateful to have Shayne and Amanda in my ears every week. This is such a constant source of joy for me, thank you to the Smosh team for making this possible!
I love the Smosh cast and how they’re able to be funny and motivational! This and their Reddit stories podcast are my go-to for listening to while locking in on tasks!
I love this podcast but jfc please figure out a structure for where ads are put in the episodes. This goes for every Smosh podcast. The random cuts to ads throughout the entire thing are unbelievably annoying. I get that they need to advertise and I wouldn't even mind if there was just a natural cut worked into the episode.
Look, I’m a huge fan of most things Smosh. I love Board AF, I love smosh pit, and the try not to laugh series. Some things aren’t quite my tea such as Bit City, but that’s ok, it’s easy to just skip and go to a different video. Smosh mouth is one that I just wanted to like so bad but I can’t because of the decisions from team. It’s worse than watching a twitch stream unsubbed. You first enter into the podcast with local ads, fine, I get it. I’m willing to cut off the butt of the bread to get to the good stuff. What I’m not willing to do is throw away every three pieces because there’s mold on it. And that’s the case here. Episode opens up, local ads (always more than one), Smosh ads (optional), then there’s intro and the episode gets good. Then boom. Local ads just shoved in sometimes in the middle of a sentence. And guess what? It’s followed by EVEN MORE Smosh Ads. Ok. Fine. A little frustrating, but I’ll move on. Ten minutes go by and I’m ready to throw my kitchen table at whoever makes these decisions at Smosh. It’s ridiculous. I understand they’re not a big podcast so they have to try to still make money, but either cut ties or find another platform for money such as Patreon. I’m also aware that I’m complaining about a free service and also ads. But even through YouTube premium I have to hear Smosh ads. On top of it all, they’re not funny. It’s mostly read directly from a script. So I have to listen to dull boring ads every ten minutes? No thanks.
I’ve been watching Smosh for years and listening to this podcast since it was Smoshcast. It was extremely jarring to hear graphic anti-immigrant, pro-Trump propaganda during every ad break. Is this some kind of oversight or is this who this company is taking sponsorships from now? Extremely disappointing.
