Please make more, I find your podcast extremely well put together and very insightful. I have currently been serving in the Army Reserves for 15yrs. We need more Podcast like this one.
Thoughtful and insightful topics on leadership. Appreciate the combination of civilian and military contributors to give broader perspective of leadership within a military context. I am sharing and using content in mentor/coaching sessions with leaders throughout the Brigade
I am a 1LT who was thrust into a leadership position instantly upon return from A school. As a member with 13 years prior enlisted the expectation level was beyond other LTs, which is understandable. I felt like the mentorship I’ve been looking for was lacking. The leadership difference between officer and enlisted is different. Basic qualities are similar but there are some completely different qualities that become paramount. I find your podcast outstanding. I throw on my head set and go to the gym during he duty day and am constantly learning to become a better officer and better leader that my unit deserves. I can’t say thank you enough.
Sir, love the podcast. The lessons you discuss with your guests are absolutely essential for the Company Grade Leader to understand. I am sharing this with all of my peers.
The host continues to select male leaders to interview giving a one sided perspective to leadership. He is exacerbating the gap that already exists between the sexes in the military. His perspective is narrow minded and creates further division on our ranks. Very unfortunate that he is not using this vehicle to showcase the female leaders in the Army and providing mentorship to junior leaders.
