Factual errors aside, I can’t fault these guys due to the fact that they review old movies without inserting politics and DO NOT laugh contantly ( for no apparent reason ) like so many others. Straight forward talk with non offensive personalities. Good job guys!

I appreciate this podcast more and more each episode. Matt & Matt aren’t experts—just two friends who love talking about classic movies. Makes you want to be part of the conversation. I always come away with a deeper insight into the movie they’re discussing after listening to their thoughts. Just wish I didn’t have to wait a whole month from one episode to the next!

I love the format and enjoy that Matt and Matt dig deep in the vault to look at some unknown gems. I only wish it was more than once a month!

I am new to this podcast so I can’t be critical because I am still feeling it out. I just wanted to mention some things not discussed in the Paris, Texas episode. Yes the kid playing Hunter Henderson is great. His name is Hunter Carson and is the son of Karen Black. You mentioned that the film reminded you of the film Easy Rider which featured Karen Black. And I think Dean Stockwell deserves a proper call out. As a former child star his work shouldn’t just be defined by his later work like Quantum Leap. He was in the Thin Man movies; he co-starred with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra in Anchors Aweigh; the title character in the film The Boy With Green Hair- and this just a few roles he had before he was a teenager. Paris, Texas brings exceptional talent to the screen which is why such a quiet film is a classic. Look forward to exploring your archive.
