This podcast is a work of art. The amount of adds is undeniably annoying, but if you really can’t handle them, just skip them. The plot and meta plot is intricate and well crafted. Look back in the comments a little and you’ll see “moment of clarity” who I completely agree with. The Magnus archives may be dry for the beginning but it gets a lot better. This podcast is cosmically good. 10/10 no notes.

I have listened to over 20 episodes and love this show. It’s a great listen, spooky, unique and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the genre. Still on season 1 and plan on listening to everything released!

Literally love this podcast, and will binge it… except the ads are insane. If you don’t skip the beginning and end, and are just listening from one to the next… there’s like 10 straight minutes of ads. I’m not against someone getting their money for their work, but it’s excessive and really rips you out of the vibe. I would even pay to remove the ads but that’s not even an option.

I originally found this podcast because I was (and still am) a HUGE mechanisms fan and wanted to see more of Jon’s work. And I’m happy to say I’ve become just as big of a TMA fan as I am a mechanisms fan !!! Sometimes I’ll put this podcast on when I’m sitting in particularly boring lectures and I can confirm that hearing about an archivist having the worst days of his life definitely makes school more interesting lol. Thanks to the creators of TMA and keep up the good work !!!

Quality of the story remains high, but the fact that there are 3-6 FULL MINUTES of intrusive advertisements before every episode makes them hard to enjoy. You don’t need that many. You simply don’t.
