What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This is the podcast I’ve been looking for. Just old time radio episodes- no ads or annoying commentary.

dinah77 · Dec 2024

The time and effort needed to make these old shows listenable is amazing. Best selection and clarity I have found

LomaRican · Jul 2023

This podcast was like a faithful friend during an illness in which I had many sleepless nights. With radio programs, I could close my eyes and the words and music would take me away from my own troubles. And now that I'm better, I still enjoy these programs when it's "me time." What makes this collection truly 5-stars is that the host carefully choses where ads appear. There's an intro and outro rhythm so that dialogue and action are not jarringly interupted. Ads allow us to listen for free, so all OK in my book. (Plus, some of the shows have the orginal ads for chewing gum and other products. These are "fascinating" as Mr. Spock might say.)

TioOsoHector · Mar 2023

Stevie K’s Voice so smooth and calming. Perfect intro to classic stories. Love Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Ms Marple ! Thank you for this gem of a podcast
