I’m in my forties and never saw The Love Boat as a kid, but I watched a lot of the episodes here and there as an adult. I expected the podcast to be frothy, light entertainment, as the show mostly is. But it’s actually that *and* something more. The interviews with guest stars are phenomenal. It is a generation of actors that we rarely hear from anymore and will soon lose, and I am so so happy to hear their stories and have them recorded. It actually feels like something legitimately important is happening here, and that took me by surprise.
I was introduced to this podcast from the 80’s tv ladies podcast and I thoroughly enjoyed the Loretta Swit episode that they had on their platform. I immediately after subscribed and will be looking forward to all the episodes. The chemistry with the 3 hosts during the podcast worked very well. Thank you for a great listen!
My comfort show is the LOVE BOAT. When I watch it now it takes me back in time. I’m going to enjoy listening to all the stories. Thank you guys for doing this.
This podcast has been long overdue. It is so good to educate people on the who the actors and people behind the scenes really are. Yes, they are actors but they are also sons, daughters, siblings, parents family and friends. Understanding that their lives were so much more than the characters they played and the way it shaped their lives both on and off the screen and stage. I’m so grateful for this platform which allows the audience to get a true sense of how much these people are and how much goes into what they do on a deeper level. Bravo to my dear friends and family. Much love!!💙🩵🩷💜
