If you’ve followed me for a while, you know my passion for the Cincinnati Reds runs deep. I’ve been fortunate to build great relationships with people throughout the organization, and I’ll always be a die-hard Reds fan.
One of the true highlights has been getting to know Reds feature reporter Jim Day. His podcast consistently delivers some of the best conversations in baseball, and I just listened to what may be my favorite episode yet.
Jim sits down with former Reds manager Dusty Baker to talk about Dusty’s new book, Crossroads. As a longtime Dusty fan, I found the conversation insightful, honest, and full of the wisdom that made him one of baseball’s most respected leaders. If you haven’t picked up Crossroads yet, it’s well worth adding to your lineup.
I could spend innings talking about both Jim and Dusty, but instead, I’ll let you take it from here.

Love the interviews. Just need more retired players. The Jim Maloney episode is gold. Get more of the Big Red Machine before they are gone. You had them in Cincy and should have been talking to them. Find more of the 60s and 70s era players yo mix in. Please! They have great stories!
