Alex especially is very plugged in, balanced in his takes, and a pleasure to listen to. I think Cole is a good counterbalance as he brings more energy and humor, though can sometimes come off as uninformed or flighty. But that’s nitpicking. I listen to each and every episode from start to finish, and eagerly await each new episode.

Alex & Cole are awesome. Even in the worst of seasons they find interesting angles, fun topics and involve fans with mailbag questions on every pod. I don’t think I’ve missed an episode in years. I’d give this 10 stars.

If you are a Giants fan this podcast is for you. It covers more than just the current team. Which I LOVE!!!!! They cover players that we have traded away but still love. Or discussing players that have since retired. Cole interviewing his dad was ultra heartwarming.

I really want to love this podcast but I just don't. Your mileage may vary. Cole Kuiper is just not a great podcast host and his slacker goofball vibe wears thin. The only real upside for me is when his dad shows up because Duane actually has credibility and is genuinely funny.
Pavlovich is a veteran of Giants coverage and knowledgeable but he just seems kind of dour and cynical for somebody who covers baseball for a living. Even when he tries to be funny it just kind of comes off as disingenuous and condescending.
The discussion of the Giants is OK and that's what you come for, but the personality mix just doesn't work for me. Again, YMMV.
