I enjoyed the discussion and analysis for this podcast. The all caps click bait title each week that something is SHOCKING or something else grew annoying and I decide to unsubscribe for my mental health. Stop chasing clicks, it will be a better product.
This podcast was exactly what I was looking for after the Dodgers advanced to a game seven. I wanted a succinct overview of game six, highlighting the key plays and players, some interviews, and a re-telling of what the game was like and what to expect in game seven. I especially enjoyed the vocabulary that the host shared. He was articulate and optimized great word choice for all terms- baseball. He was optimistic and touched on the emotional aspects that we felt, but he just put it so perfectly into words! I especially loved the insinuation of a "higher power" helping the boys in blue with that obscure wedged ball in the 9th. Hallelujah- boy were we all lucky there!! Let's go Dodgers, and get it done tonight!
I really enjoy listening to Jeff and Vince together. They have much more energy together, but alone Vince lacks energy, and Jeff rambles. I have been listening since the pandemic and I am noticing that they do not record the show together as much this year. I find it a treat when they record a show together these days.
This is definitely one of the top Dodgers podcasts out there. I listen in virtually every day. Jeff and Vince provide fantastic insight and analysis into the Dodgers and Major League Baseball. I enjoy their unique personalities and perspectives. And while I love their shows during the season, their off season shows are great too. I’m happy to give this podcast a five star rating!
I have been a listener for the past two years, but the new host has turned this from a solid Dodgers podcast with good information and solid depth of analysis to one person giving shallow opinions in what feels like is a personal audition for a sports TV debate show. Just doesn’t feel like a podcast anymore.
Since Jeff Snider and Vince Samperio were dropped from the show the quality is way down. New hosts don’t know much about baseball. They are full of platitudes and don’t know much about Dodger and baseball history. And their knowledge about baseball stats and strategy are laughable. I have unsubscribed from the podcast.
