The Hardware Unboxed Podcast

These two have a good dynamic and don’t take themselves too seriously. Even when I’m not entirely into the thing they’re talking about at a given moment, it’s an enjoyable podcast.

Hardware Unboxed is an amazing YouTube channel, not just because the three guys who run it do an amazing job, but because they are independent, and not saying things paid for by corporations. The podcast is an extension of the hard work they do on the YouTube channel, where the two hosts talk about the work they’ve been doing, news, and even boring life stuff, even though I don’t find anything they do boring. The only thing I would want to see improved is a more consistent release schedule. There should ALWAYS be a new episode every Friday. If someone is going to be out of town, record it w. Someone’s sick? Have Balin fill in. There needs to be a show every single week. Podcast fans are creatures of habit, and we look forward to a new show every week. Keep up the great work guys!

It seems I’m the first follower of HU’s new podcast from the realm of bad fruit lol! Anyway. Love these guys and the amazing service they do for the DIY PC and PC gaming communities. They are right there with Gamers Nexus imo. The data they produce has been thoroughly and competently tested and analyzed, unlike a certain overpriced screwdriver and backpack distributor. Looking forward to more episodes! Big thank you to Steve, Tim, and the rest of the HU crew! Keep up the great work!

Glad to see these two branch into the audio format world. I’ve always enjoyed the monthly QA videos and hope for similar content in the podcast world.

It’s great when I get to hear them, but it seems there is a new reason for them to take a break every month. It’s September 8th and their last episode was posted a month ago on August 8th. It’s just frustrating when you’re told it’s a weekly thing and then it’s inconsistent to this degree. Consistency is key for your audience
