Version History is a show about the best gadgets ever. And the worst ones. And the ones that might have changed the world, if they ever actually shipped. Every week, your favorite people from The Verge and beyond hang out to tell and debate the story of a gadget, app, website, or any other tech product, and try to determine the item’s true legacy. Because not every product is a hit, but every product has a story. And the ones that really matter aren’t always the ones you think. From the Verge and the Vox Media Podcast Network.

I’m a lifelong gadget lover and was excited to see this podcast. I find the subject matter extremely interesting, but after 2 episodes I’m not sure if I’ll keep listening. I don’t usually notice or care about people using “filler words”, but the 3 hosts say “like” CONSTANTLY, and it’s distracting. If you played a drinking game where everyone drinks after each “like”, you’d be hammered 10 minutes into the Sony Watchman episode. Also, maybe they should have brought someone in for that episode who’s a little older and actually experienced the debut of the Watchman. Their takes were a little strange and I can only assume it’s because they are just a bit too young to have experienced it firsthand. Not enough historical perspective for that one.
