Hello guys: I cannot tell you how much the podcast means to me. Although I am not in the entertainment field, like you, I have such a huge passion for movies…. I managed a video store for 12 years (the good old days)… your willingness to dive deep into moving that I just saw as completely entertaining it completely enlightening. The most recent podcast ever listen to are Toostie and Mary Poppins…and while they still entertain, your willingness and desire to seek the deeper meaning has challenged me and made me appreciate these films on a much deeper level. In addition…I love all of the info regarding the pre-production and what goes into making a great film work. Thanks so much for sharing your passion and I am so excited to see what comes next! Film podcasts are my guilty pleasure and I’ve listened to countless different shows. The Cine-Files is hands down the best film podcast. While some shows lean on inside jokes and quirky categories to keep listeners engaged, John and Steve provide deep analysis with well-researched background on the production and the cast/crew involved in each film they cover. I always learn something new with each episode and even think about films from a different perspective. If you’re a true lover of film, you won’t find a better podcast than The Cine-Files.
