What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I listened initially to check this out for my kids but have started listening to it on my own when I have trouble sleeping. It’s a great combination of interesting content, good science storytelling, and a soothing bedtime voice. Highly recommend!

aedundy · Nov 2025

My 7 year old has been having trouble falling asleep for months now. Nothing worked. A friend told us to try the Bedtime Scientist sleep casts and it was like magic. My daughter loves them and gets so excited to listen to them every night and falls asleep in minutes. Highly recommend to anyone who is having trouble with their kids sleep routine!

TJB_18 · Oct 2025

Josh’s steady voice and curious topics creates a soothing, safe and enjoyable podcast lullaby. As much as you want to hear every word of the interesting facts he shares about in the stories, his voice lets you know it’s ok to relax, unwind and calmly drift to sleep. I love podcasts that teach the children as well as the adults!! 6 stars if that was a rating!

JadeMa9 · Oct 2025

We love this series… soothing, interesting and doesn’t talk down to kids. Painterly images, poetic prose, puts us all in a sleepy frame of mind!
