Eat Your Spanish has been a favorite of ours for the last two years. Our oldest adores listening to Evan and Vanessa (and especially Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Mouse). Our youngest now shares the same love. Both sing the opening jingle with great delight and shout the Spanish back and forth sections. We love you all!

I have wanted to pick up speaking Spanish so I can better connect with the Spanish speaking families in our church, school, and sports activities. I’m enjoying listening in the car with my 7 year old and I’ve given is the goal to go on a Honduras missions trip in two years if we can speak Spanish by then. I’m amazed how much I remember from High School and the show is making me More confident and we are having fun!

I’m beyond thankful for this podcast and the people behind it. We originally found Eat Your Spanish when the pandemic hit. I had two young kids at home and it was a great way to add in some extra learning. Fun, cute and well made. The podcast is lighthearted and the music is so beautifully written and produced. Evan and Vanessa are such loving people and the podcast shows. Incredible talent. Huge hearts. A few years ago we learned that Mr. Evan teaches ukulele and guitar lessons virtually. We began lessons when my son was around 8. He is almost 12. I wish I could share a video of my son’s guitar skills and talent. Mr. Evan has been such a supportive, patient and loving teacher. My son looks forward to his lesson each week. I’m so thankful that we found this podcast because it opened our lives to more learning, curiosity, friendship, Spanish and music.

I can’t say enough about how much we love this podcast. It is a staple in our family. Not only are the kids laughing, but my husband and I are laughing too. It was our first introduction to Spanish and helped us get our toes wet while making Spanish fun for the whole family.

This lacks richness. Our search for a good homeschooling option for Spanish introduction continues. The accents are inauthentic and the whole thing is cheesy. My 6, 5, and 3 year old boys can hardly stand this show. I have tried a handful of times to make it work, but it lacks educational sequence, culture, and authentic speaking. My kids think the “funny” parts are boring. This is a podcast for people who are thoughtlessly trying to fill empty space (in the car, in the house, etc.) and pretend their kids are learning Spanish.
