Awakening Spaces explores the profound connection between our physical environments and our inner consciousness. We guide homeowners, designers, and wellness seekers beyond simply discussing "toxin-free" building methods to examine who we actually become on our "toxin-free" journey. In this podcast we’re not only talking about windows, walls, and wiring. Through expert interviews, case studies, and actionable guidance, we will explore how mindful design choices affect our relationships, stress levels, and overall well-being. Drawing from my background in design, building biology, and building science I guide listeners through both the practical and philosophical aspects of creating homes that elevate our health and consciousness. Each week, you’ll receive grounded guidance and actionable tips to help you eliminate the stress and overwhelm of finding, renovating, building, or maintaining your healthy home—so that you can create a space that truly supports who you are becoming. Just by tuning in, you’re already stepping into what it means to be an Awakened Homeowner. Together, we’re building a new way forward—one conscious choice at a time.

Ashley takes the technical side seriously and still leaves room for the human part of it: the nervous system, the stress, the toll a bad house takes on a family. This podcasts holds space for both without getting soft on the science. The guest list tells you a lot. Architects, roofing contractors, indoor air quality specialists, home inspectors. People who actually do the work and are willing to say where systems fail. The conversations go well past surface level "avoid VOCs" advice into moisture, mechanicals, assemblies, and what it costs to fix any of it after the fact. If you are house hunting, renovating, or trying to understand why your home makes you feel worse than you should, start here. Ashley gives you enough to ask better questions of your builder. Definitely worth subscribing.
Ashley is incredible and I am so grateful she has been doing this podcast. I work in this space and this collection of interviews and solo pods is inspirational and educational and on my “must listen” list. Thank you Ashley!!
I’m a mom and a healthy home advocate, and finding a podcast that goes deep, with real experts and science, is rare. Ashley features guests who genuinely know their stuff and she asks the right questions. This isn't surface-level wellness content. It's the kind of information that makes you feel equipped and empowered to protect your family's health. I'm so grateful this resource exists!
Ashley has been and continues to be incredibly helpful while we’re building our next home. I’ve found her podcast episodes to be uplifting, thorough, and full of practical guidance that truly makes a difference. We also purchased her online courses, which have been a lifesaver throughout this process. Ashley has a grounded, reassuring way of teaching that makes complex decisions feel clear & manageable. Highly recommend her podcast to anyone building, creating, or renovating an intentional home!
