The Adam and Dr. Drew Show

by PodcastOne / Carolla Digital

Adam Carolla & Dr. Drew Pinsky reunite the partnership that made Loveline a wild success and cultural touchstone. In each episode Adam and Drew take uncensored, nothing-off-limits, calls about sex, drug, medical and relationship issues. Dr. Drew brings the medicine while Adam's comedy and rants are the spoonful of sugar to make it go down.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

A healthy dosage of perspective with a nostalgic 90’s dynamic duo. I enjoy the vitriolic takes on current events. Takes the listener back to a time where people had thicker skin and not so easily offended.

DNDLYON · Jun 2024

Absolutely love your podcast when the two of you talk about current topics/events/news. It stands out from other podcasts that interview guests. I listen to both of your individual podcasts where you each interview guests. This podcast was different because it was just the two of you who are absolutely wonderful together!!!

Peachgal23 · Jul 2023

This is a a great quick hit podcast. 30 ish minutes of conversation interspersed with callers. The dynamic between them is excellent after decades and they present an open minded and thoughtful dialogue. Rational.

gary cort · Jan 2023

When the world seems insane and common sense seems less and less common these days, this show is a lifesaver!! These two balance each other out more than any other duo in the podcasting world. If you need grounded, rational, and an honest commentary on the world, our culture, and society. I can’t think of a more refreshing podcast than this. I never write reviews, but this podcast is truly humble, funny and a searing critique on the world at large. Get it on!!

I have been here since the beginning…Love Line, Man Show, Stern Show, ACS. I was excited when Dr Drew and Adam were going to reunite with a podcast! I listened day one, and to ALL 1400+ episodes. I am sad to say that the direction the show has taken in the last year or so has driven me to give it up. If anyone cares, I am going to leave a lengthy review of my issues and some suggestions as how to improve things. I am hoping to came back some day. I still love these two and will continue to listen to ACS, Dr Drew podcast and Ace on the House. ISSUES: 1. Show is now down to less than 30 minutes, of which about 10 minutes is commercials, seems a bit much. 2. They gang tape many at once, and delay putting them out, so often the daily episode seems a bit dated with topics. Not a huge deal but annoying. 3. Two main issues…. #1 LOVEBOAT!! Please, enough already! Is anyone is the audience interested in this? Is anyone is America watching these old reruns? Daily rundown of the episode from the day before! Deep dive on actors ? NO! And, Adams either playing a horrible sound clip from his phone or getting the producers to spend five minutes trying to find some clip on YouTube? BAD POD! If you insist on keeping this up I have a suggestion…buy the series on iTunes and tell the producer the day before so he can get the correct clip ready for you. #2 MAIN ISSUE! TOO POLITICAL! Everyday seems to be a run down of Tucker Carlson’s show, or Dennis Prager, or FOX news in general. ALL one sided. Adam, constant super insults at Democrats being weak, sheep, led only by emotions and race. It’s just too much for me. I’m a 50 year old white male moderate Democrat, former Republican. I’m not too woke or sensitive but he’s just too much at times. And Drew seems to almost always agree. Not that interesting. How about everyone once in a blue moon keep it more balanced and criticize a Republican? or Trump? Drew keep saying that they have not changed at all but are shocked that old friends of the show have deserted them, like DAG, David Wilde, etc. Take the hint. 4. Phone calls? Read the description of this show, that’s what it began as. That was great !! A+. Now, almost no phone calls, if we get one its usually a right wing dude ripping on the Dems. Rare to have a good old neutral call about a relationship, or medical issue. PLEASE! 1. Ban All LOVEBOAT talk 2. Cut WAY back on politics. 3. Less on Newsome, Garcetti, local CA issues. For those outside CA, we don’t know these people or care. 4. Less COVID talk! 5. Bring back all phone call shows. Let the callers guide the show, and neutral topics from them. Relationships, Sex issues, family issues, Please……I miss you

rexboyce · Aug 2021

I like hearing Geragos talk about legal issues, but when he discusses his own clients, the show becomes unlistenable. Hunter Biden is being “stomped on”? Please. Geragos is a paid advocate. Great for a courtroom; disastrous for a podcast. Please stop this charade.
