Prayers of REST

This podcast and your emails have been such an encouragement. I’ve been through some of the same experiences you have Asheritah and it was so comforting to know someone else understands. It was a darkness I never want to go into again. But Jesus never let me go. He drew me out of deep waters. I needed to learn how to let him hold me too. I’ve enjoyed listening to your words and Hannah’s words. Y’all are a joy. I can relate to you both and appreciate the authenticity. Every time y’all tell your stories it uplifts me, I’m either nodding my head while listening or in tears. Thank you Jesus and thank you for these wonderful women and their mission. Thanks for teaching us more about delighting in Jesus and how He delights in us.

Beautiful Asheritah !! I am someone who needs all the things to align in order to not be distracted during time with Jesus. I am so thankful for your podcast. I’m sure there are many options for guided prayer, but your voice, pace, music, and authenticity allowed me to focus and truly allow God’s presence in the room I’m in. Thank you!

I have been a fan of Asheritah’s writing and books for several years. Her book, Prayers of Rest, is a mainstay on my desk and it is dog-eared, marked in and highlighted. This podcast is a beautiful extension of her book on prayer. It is a tremendous blessing and has strengthened my prayer life. I love the ministry of One Thing Alone and the mission to equip and encourage in God’s word. This podcast has been a huge source of comfort and blessing as I have not been able to pray with a group of believers as often as I once have. These prayers of rest have helped me through and remind me of God’s truth as I pray and dwell on him and what he wants to say to me. I listen and pray along as I walk, or as I drive or just as I’m sitting quietly. Thank you for helping lead us to the heart of God through scripture and prayer.
