What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I started listening to this podcast a few years ago and have finally finished every episode!! I came from a very rough upbringing with a very legalistic church and abuse in the home. That drove me to drugs and alcohol. I was a nut to say the least. After years of that life and almost completely destroying my life I asked God to pull me out and he did through multiple hardships and circumstances. I finally repented and surrendered to Him and started my real Christian journey. You guys have played a major major role in helping me find real truth and explaining tough issues. This podcast has been a major motivator in getting me into evangelism and seeking to bring the truth to others! I have started a YouTube telling people’s stories of transformation and use that as a tool for street evangelism. I also have and will use more of your resources. I read the Evidence bible almost daily. Thank you all so much! God bless and keep up the great work.

As a busy wife, mother of 3, homeschooler it can be hard to find time to get together with friends, laugh and share things going on in our lives, HOWEVER, listening to these podcasts weekly (daily if you listen back to earlier recordings), it has been exactly what my weary heart needed; laughter , the gospel of Jesus Christ , encouragement, and real life application. After only a few episodes you’ll begin to realize you have a new group of friends that host a podcast! There is the totally hip friend (Oscar), the chicken crazy friend (Ray), the sound of reason friend (Mark), and of course the ridiculously hilarious with bits of wisdom friend (EZ) - love you brothers, keep up your Kingdom work!

I have been listening for a couple of months now, I love the fellowship, Ray’s heart for the Gospel and deep conviction for seeing sinners saved. I steal Mark’s quotes daily, rely on the wisdom of Oscar, and love the goofiness EZ brings. I was in conviction about my calling in life and this podcast helped show me the courage I needed to follow that calling and better live out obedience. “Obedience is born in Love” -Clint Pressley by way of Mark Spence

I am a seventeen year old girl from Virginia and have been watching yall's YouTude channel for 3 years. My family and I went to a charismatic church, which my grandfather pastored, until I was ten. We then moved to a doctrinally sound baptist church, where I first learned about repentance and put my faith in Christ. After attending this church for five years, my parents decided to move back to the charismatic church. I was heartbroken by their decision, knowing how deceptive the charismatic movement is. I still go to the youth group at our Baptist church but have not been able to go on Sunday mornings for the past two years. On top of this, I have family members who profess to be Christians but show no fruit of true repentance. Church has been hard for me for the past couple of years, but your podcast has brought me so much encouragement and strength. Ray, I just read your book "Any One But Me" and "How To Battle Depression and Suicidal Thoughts" and am currently reading "Faith Is For Weak People". These books, your podcasts, and your YouTube channel have equipped me to evangelize my family and any unbelievers I may meet. I plan on going to The Master's University in a few years and would love to meet you guys while I'm in California! Thank you guys so much for all you do! I am praying for you daily. P.S. E.Z., keep singing! And Mark and Oscar, it’s pronounced AUGUST-een 😉 Your sister in Christ, Cameron
