What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This podcast helps people including this skeptical Computer Scientist (CS) student and professional. More importantly it is accessible to all by educating about facts rather than marketing jargon. It is informative and recent episodes have improved greatly. Cutting through AI-hype trends is increasingly important. Please keep doing this brilliant work!

Infini19A0 · Apr 2024

Finally some skepticism to counter the hype. Podcast does a good job of deflating the bubble.

Ememqut · Jun 2025

If you are still afraid of the stochastic parrots, listen. If you already know, and are exasperated by otherwise sensible people convinced they’re on the verge of being replaced in all areas of life with some grinning robot, have them listen. This is both vaccine and antidote.

I am very glad that this podcast exists. There needs to be a focus on critically questioning the hype around artificial intelligence. because this topic is so important, I wish that the podcast producers had more patience to do a good job in communicating their ideas. There are audio problems with this podcast, but not from a bad microphone or setting. The two speakers mumble, and speak too quickly to be understood clearly at all times. furthermore, the format of pedantic quibbling with an article that is written by someone else is not a great way to make the problems of AI hype clear. The two speakers sound as if they share a lot of inside knowledge with each other, but they are not sharing that with the audience in a well organized way. I know that they are capable thinkers, and that they care about the subject. I ask that they please go back and put in the work that this subject deserves. There are too many people who don’t understand what’s happening, and. They need to have the scam explained to them plainly.
