by Michael Sharkey, Chris Sharkey
Join Michael and Chris Sharkey, two proudly average tech enthusiasts, as they stumble through the world of artificial intelligence with all the grace of a robot learning to dance. This (sometimes weekly*) podcast delivers an hour-long conversation about their thoroughly middle-of-the-road adventures with AI. No PhDs. No Silicon Valley insights. Just two guys with enough technical knowledge to be dangerous, sharing their unexceptional yet entertaining experiences with AI tools and technology. Subscribe now to hear: • Mediocre hot takes on AI developments • Stories of AI experiments gone adequately okay • The most average advice you'll ever need • Two Sharkeys trying their best to sound smart about algorithms • Childish AI prank calls that somehow fool everybody • Attempts at using AI for phishing attacks on their mother • "Chart-topping" AI songs according to the brothers Join our perfectly mediocre community where being average at AI is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and learning through mistakes is our specialty. Because let's face it - most of us are figuring this out as we go along. New episodes drop whenever we remember to record them. 🎙️ Proudly supported by Simtheory.ai

I listen while I work to glean the latest status of AI along with the host’s interesting perspectives and predictions.
Best weekly average ai podcast around. Great balance of information, entertainment, and a little education; consistent through 99.01 episodes
I have been listening for over a year, and I have a paid subscription to the host's AI platform (SimTheory AI). As a consultant for a major cloud provider that works with many customers looking to reinvent their businesses or tackle problems that were previously impractical to solve, I find the podcast not only highlights the latest developments in this space but also addresses the practical application to real world problems, and show cases the art of the possible. While the hosts will probably question how I value my time, I look forward to this podcast every Thursday and am often experimenting with what's new on the weekends.
Perfect balance between entertaining and informative. Hosts actually use all the tools they talk about and provide great insights on both limitations and potential use cases.
If many AI podcasts are hyperbolically fawning of every AI announcement these guys are the exact opposite. They are unimpressed by and critical of virtually every AI announcement. This can be valuable but tends to get annoying after a while. There are many nicely balanced AI podcasts I would go to first.
