What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This podcast is my secret weapon to start the day off right. It feels more like a trip to Filoli for my ears than a gardening podcast. The crunching of the gravel, Willa’s description of what she’s seeing, and the casual conversation style draw the listener in to feel apart of the experience. Mornings in Filoli is as informative as it is charming, and leaves me with a sense of inspiration to take on the day. My only complaint is the frequency. I would love more!

Garden galore · Jun 2025

Could anyone be more delightful and charming than Willa? It’s always such a pleasure to listen to her musings and her conversations with the people responsible for keeping Filoli the lovely place it is. This episode does not disappoint 💕

Filoli Member · Nov 2024

A right foot to start the day is so important to me. Every so often I tune in for the latest episode, AirPods of course, and am delighted to get my brain kickstarted on the hobby of gardening that I will, some day, undoubtedly pick up. Until then, I’m delighted to learn and hear from the experts. Gentle, relaxing, eloquent, and best served with a morning coffee while walking the dog through my sleepy neighborhood. More please.

I learned about this podcast and was excited to listen since I have visited Filoli several times in the past. This podcast is a winner starting with the great voice, manner and knowledge of Interpretation Manager Willa Brock. The sounds of the birds, the crunch of the pebbles and other nature sounds sets the mood. Willa has a delightful quality to her as do all the horticulturists and others at Filoli who obviously love their work. From learning about the history of FIloli, getting gardening tips and sensing the joy of being a part of this historic house and garden, it inspires me to spend more time at Filoli and with the podcast!!
